That essentially describes my business strategy since 1998, when I departed the agency world to embark on a consulting career.
Prior to starting W Communications, a certified woman-owned business, I worked for CRT/tanaka – Virginia’s largest public relations agency – where I managed national accounts and conducted a variety of public relations activities. While there, I led an account that earned the Public Relations Society of America’s highest honor – a Silver Anvil.
I graduated from the University of Virginia in 1991 with a B.A. in Rhetoric & Communications.
Today I live with my husband and kids in the historic Fan District of Richmond, Va. When I’m not consulting, you might find me tubing down a creek, coaching youth soccer (since 2003) or giving tours at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (since 1992).
